Helen’s long-term fascination with the magical qualities of hand-blown glass led her to begin the process of learning to blow glass herself.

She has a glass furnace that enables her to produce her own work and create prototypes for her design concepts to be made by others.

Exhibited at The European Cultural Centre’s Venice biennial contemporary art exhibition 2022, ‘Fungi’ is a reflection of Helen’s fascination with this under-explored kingdom. Each mouth-blown glass sculpture is unique. Bold in personality, with vibrant colours, these eye-catching artworks can stand alone or work well as a collection.
